Major UK Ice Rinks
Ice-skating is a very popular pastime in the UK and for this reason there are ice rinks in many of the larger centres. London, for example, has many venues where you can lace up your skates and enjoy a wonderful hour or so skating on your own, with your favourite person or as a family. The ice rinks in London are:
- Streatham Ice Arena located at 386 Streatham Road. There are three train stations nearby, several buses run to the area and there is a large car park if you choose to drive.
- Alexandra Palace ice rink is located at Alexandra palace Way in Wood Green in North London.
- Queens Ice Bowl is located at 17 Queensway in Bayswater. The Queensway Underground on the Central Line will take you right to this location or you can take the Bayswater Underground on the District/Circle Line.
- The Broadgate Ice Arena is located in the heart of London overlooking the Spitalfields Market. Skating lessons are available at this location.
